Metadev Labs is an open space to show other projects we are building at Metadev.
Here you will found our on-going research, exploratory ideas and pet projects we are working on, plus research papers and collaborations we are involved in. Ranging from alpha quality and early prototypes to final innovations we adpoted in pur products.
1. Risk DSL
We explored diferent DSLs to describe/interpet/simulate risks and probabilities.

2. Modeling & LLMs
Artificial Intelligence is touching all aspect of human tasks. Modeling is also affected. We are exploring how to incorporate Artificial Intelligence based assitants.

3. Collaborative Modeling
Real-time collaboration is a great feature for modeling environments.
In 2024 we researched how to incorporate a CRDT based solution for real-time collaboration to be added into Daga.
The work we did with Matthew Weidner, PhD. (CMU) added real-time collaborative capabilities to our DSLs.

4. LionWeb
Interoperability of models is an important topic we cannot take for granted. Many customers like the aerospatial domain run models for years. We need to ensure a long-term support to be able to read, process, write, validate and transforms such models.
To address this concern, Metadev actively collaborates with LionWeb: an open spurce innitiative to define and maintain standars for model interchange to promote model interoperability.
5. UI Modeling

6. Kubernetes
Exploring drill & down interfaces on Daga to diagnose errors on a Kubernetes cluster enviroment.

7. Essential / Metamodeling
Essential is the base metamodeling library & DSL we use at metadev to create metamodels.

8. Cloud deploy & compliance
Landing Zone Editor to describe Landing Zones configurations as configuration models and then validate and deploy, creating reports for auditors ensuring compliance.
